well not really Pat Misch has been DFA'd to clear a roster spot for Kelvin Pichardo etc...etc...
"11. Bruce Bochy, Giants: Gets a lot of respect for his in-game maneuvers, knowledge of the game, and general demeanor. " My feelings for Bochy's in-game maneuvers do not even come near to "respect." Perhaps the size of his head influenced Nick Cafardo.
I haven't seen anything about it here (although, I haven't been reading McC as much lately), but the best SF Giants blog is back on the web.
From Rotoworld: The Tigers, Giants and Red Sox have all scouted and/or discussed the possibility of acquiring Corey Hart, reports the Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo. The Giants and Red Sox both have pitching to give, with the Brewers needing a starting pitcher. Hart got off to a slow start on the year, but a couple recent strong games have pushed him to .256/.330/.415 on the season. He makes a lot of sense for the Giants. If the Brewers were to deal Hart, either Jody Gerut or Frank Catalanotto would likely start. --- I'm not really sure how Corey Hart works on the Giants. MORE OFS!
A little cold water for your draft fantasies. He's still young enough to be our Ludwick, right? Right?
The latest from Keith Law has the Giants choosing CF Tim Wheeler from Sac State. He says the Giants "are indicating they would rather take a college position player than a high school pitcher."
The wife found this listed on CL, as she's been looking for a part time job. She thought this sounded great - and being a die hard Giants fan, she got really excited and even forwarded it over to me... she can't take the job, as travelling isn't something she can do with our baby in tow. But - it leads to a few questions - Who do you guys think this is? Also - since no better Giants fans exist in this world --- who needs a job?
Steve Holm seriously needs a website like this. Every career backup catcher does. And apparently the music is by this "Rush" everybody has been talking about.
