Good morning, baseball fans!
And what a morning it is. The San Francisco Giants won last night, the weather is starting to cool off, the leaves are starting to change, and there’s a bit of crispness in the morning air these days that means that fall is here. September is almost over, and then comes one of my favorite months. October.
Now, it’s not every year that October is my favorite month. In fact, most years it is not. However, when the Giants are making a playoff run, well, then it’s not just October. It’s Orange October.
That’s right, our good friends over at Breaking T are back at it again with a fresh new shirt for you to show your holiday spirit. I mean, the best part about Halloween is really that the colors are black and orange. So you can be festive for that and Giants playoff baseball at the same time, everyone wins! (I still think we should all have paid time off to watch playoff games, but my congressman hasn’t responded to my letters or tweets. I’ll keep trying.)
Anyway, it’s almost October and the Giants are headed back to the playoffs one way or another, so if you’re looking to add to your Giants wardrobe before then, make sure to pick up yours today!
Some roster news, Scott Kazmir is set to start today’s game, with Logan Webb going tomorrow and Alex Wood on Friday. There’s a possibility that Johnny Cueto could re-join the team in time for the final weekend of the season. So buckle up, this is going to be a wild ride to the finish line in the NL West race.
