Saturday BP: Kris Bryant seems cool

Hello and happy Saturday.

I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty happy about the whole Kris Bryant on the San Francisco Giants thing. I was happy when it first happened, and I’m even happier now that he’s mashing dingers and playing all over the infield and making baseball look beautiful.

He also just seems like a super cool dude. That’s on display in a recent video the team put out on their YouTube page, as part of their “Catchin’ Up” series.

It’s a simple series, in which members of the team play catch while answering questions. So it’s basically a light-hearted and funny interview with Bryant while getting to hear the soothing sounds of baseballs smacking the inside of leather mitts.

It’s good stuff. He wants to go see the redwoods, which I appreciate.
