Tuesday BP: The Giants City Connect jerseys are very foggy

And also bad.

Giants

Hello and happy Tuesday.

On Monday, the San Francisco Giants released their 2021 “City Connect” jerseys which, as you can probably guess from the name, seek to ... uhh ... connect the team to their city. In the Giants case, that means a heavy dose of the Golden Gate Bridge, as seen through a polaroid picture from the 1990s that’s been sitting in the sun until the colors got saturated and artistically wonky.

And it also means fog. Lots of fog. All kinds of fog. Because apparently San Francisco, one of the most iconic cities in the world, full of gorgeous architecture, all-world food, and a dramatic coastline, is defined by small particles of water floating through the air.

Okay.

So here’s the thing about these jersey: I don’t like them.

But let’s round up some Giants fan reactions and see what the sentiment is.

Yep I think we can stop there, that sums it up.
