It’s time for the series finale between the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals. And it’s the Giants chance to take some momentum into a critical four-game road series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, which will play a huge role in determining the landscape of the NL West.

It’s also a chance for Johnny Cueto to start the second half strong. Cueto struggled in a big way to end the first half, giving up 15 hits, 3 walks, and 9 earned runs in 11 innings in his last pair of starts. Cueto finding his groove like he did at the start of the season would be an enormous development for the Giants.
