7/11 Gamethreads: Futures Game and Giants vs. Nats

Before the big event of the night — the MLB Draft — we get a pair of baseball games to whet our appetite.

First it’s the Futures Game, which features the San Francisco Giants No. 1 prospect (Low-A shortstop Marco Luciano) and No. 3 prospect (AA center fielder Heliot Ramos). Then, just over an hour into that game, it’s the series finale between the Giants and the Washington Nationals — and the Giants final game before the All-Star break.

This will serve as the gamethread for both of those games, and then we’ll have a separate gamethread for the draft.
