Hello and happy Sunday.
It’s draft day, and you know exactly what that means: it’s time to get mad at the San Francisco Giants for not drafting the prospect that you want, so that in 10 years we can laugh about how badly we wanted that one dude who hit .154 in AA and never made the Majors.
Alternately, it means this: it’s time for us all to have really strong opinions about people we didn’t know existed a month ago, and basically know nothing about.
If I sound like a downer, I’m not trying to be. I love the draft, largely for the above reasons. It’s the best. Let’s have some fun.
There will be a gamethread of sorts for the draft, but in the meantime, here’s how to watch it, as well as the other exciting prospects event: the Futures Game, which Marco Luciano and Heliot Ramos are partaking in.

The Giants play the Washington Nationals at 1:05 p.m. PT today, so if you’re interested in the actual game, the Futures Game, and the draft, it’s going to feel like an NFL Sunday.
Have a great day, everyone.
