Hello and happy Sunday.
Donnie Barrels is nearing a return. The San Francisco Giants second baseman and reigning National League Silver Slugger, who hasn’t played since April 21, began his rehab assignment on Saturday with the AAA Sacramento River Cats. He should be back soon, and so will Alex Dickerson, who should be activated today.
Alex Dickerson remains on track to be activated tomorrow and Donovan Solano will play five innings in a rehab assignment for Sacramento tonight. As for Yastrzemski, he's' out because his side is sore after crashing against the scoreboard last night. Likely a one-day thing.

Solano can’t return soon enough for the Giants. They started the season with a bit of a logjam at second base between him, Tommy La Stella, and Wilmer Flores. But La Stella is on the Injured List for the foreseeable future, and Flores has struggled in a big way to start the season. Entering Saturday’s game, the Giants second basemen were 23rd in the Majors in Wins Above Replacement, per Fangraphs, and 26th in wRC+.
