Hello and happy Thursday. This Thursday is brought to you SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in San Francisco Giants fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts. No, seriously, do it. I’m demanding you. I’m not going to leave until you do it.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, Giants fans are still pretty confident in the direction of the team. But thanks in part to Sunday’s 11-1 loss to the San Diego Padres, that confidence dipped from 91% last week to 84% this week. Still a good number!

More importantly, the bulk of Giants fans anticipate the team finishing with a winning record. 50% of fans predict the Giants to finish with 76 to 85 wins, while more than 40% are expecting the team to finish in the 86 to 96 ballpark.

And more than 5% of fans predicted the Giants to keep riding this 22-14 start all the way to a 97+ win season, and I will buy each and every one of those fans a beer. Good fans, the whole lot of them.

In other survey news, MLB fans believe that there are too many strikeouts in games these days, and that games would be more fun with less of an emphasis on dingers and more two and three-baggers.

Hard to argue with that. Love you forever, Triple’s Alley.
