Thus begins a three-game road series against one of the top teams in baseball. Best of luck, San Francisco Giants. I don’t envy you the task, but I’ll be watching the whole way.
Game #4
Who: San Francisco Giants (1-2) vs. San Diego Padres (3-1)
Where: Petco Park, San Diego, California
When: 7:10 p.m. PT
Regional broadcast: NBC Sports Bay Area (available through fuboTV)
National broadcast: None
Radio: KNBR 680 AM/104.5 FM
Lineups
It’s a lefty on the mound for the Padres, which plays into the Giants strengths, though sadly means we don’t get to see Brandon Belt, who is currently a platoon player given the Giants vast quantity of defensively-challenged right-handed hitters.

Notes
Yaz a late scratch: Mike Yastrzemski was initially in the lineup and hitting third, but was a late scratch due to soreness on his left hand, which was hit by a pitch on the final day of Spring Training. Brandon Crawford enters in Yastrzemski’s place, with Mauricio Dubón moving from shortstop to center field, and Austin Slater sliding over from center to right field.
Enjoy the baseball, friends.
