It’s game two of three between the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies, and the Giants have a chance to win the series, and secure at least a .500 mark on the road trip. And they’ll welcome Logan Webb back into the rotation, as he takes Johnny Cueto’s spot while Cueto rehabs his lat.

Notes

More roster moves: A day after Sam Selman and Trevor Gott were recalled, both have been taken off the roster to make room for the returns of Logan Webb and Jake McGee. Selman has been optioned back to the Alternate Training Site, while Gott has been designated for assignment for the second time this year. He will most likely clear waivers and be reassigned.

Vaxxed Buster: Buster Posey has, it seems, received his first coronavirus vaccine.

Enjoy the baseball, friends.
