The San Francisco Giants are having their resolve tested early in the season. After blowing a 6-1 8th-inning lead on Opening Day against the Seattle Mariners, the Giants will have to learn how to rebuild trust in their bullpen to throw strikes, and go out there and chase the first win that should have already been there.

Let’s just pretend this is Opening Day.

Game #2

Who: San Francisco Giants (0-1) vs. Seattle Mariners (1-0)
Where: T-Mobile Park, Seattle, Washington
When: 7:10 p.m. PT
Regional broadcast: NBC Sports Bay Area (available through fuboTV)
National broadcast: None
Radio: KNBR 680 AM/104.5 FM

The Giants are facing another lefty, so their lineup remains mostly the same. Brandon Belt is out, and Darin Ruf is in — otherwise, it’s the same crew.

Kapler applauds ASG move: Earlier in the day, MLB announced that it would be moving the 2021 All-Star Game out of Georgia, following the recent voter suppression laws.

Giants manager Gabe Kapler applauded the league for the move.
