Hello and happy Monday. Welcome to a new week. Fingers crossed that it’s a good one.
After a full season without fans, the San Francisco Giants — and other MLB teams — are letting in a few fans for games. That, combined with the fact that I recently received my second coronavirus vaccination, has me dreaming about going to baseball games again soon.
I’m not sure if I feel comfortable going to games anytime soon, but normalcy is clearly on the horizon, and I can at least start to daydream about going to baseball games.
Which means daydreaming about going to baseball parks.
I’ll admit that I haven’t been to very many baseball parks in my life. Unless you count the numerous name changes at Oracle Park, I’ve only been to five MLB parks — only four of which are still active (miss you, Candlestick. Kind of. Not really. But a little.).
Excluding Oracle, what’s your favorite ballpark that you’ve been to?
Mine is Petco Park. If you sit in any of the seats that are located behind home plate, so that you can look out on the field, you have an idyllic view of downtown San Diego, with airplanes passing through and the sun shining bright. Add it the affordable craft beer, and it’s a little slice of baseball heaven.

The Giants are hot, but who’s hottest? (July 19, 2019 — Brady Klopfer)
What time do the Giants play today?
The Giants play the Phillies today at 4:05 p.m.
Have a swell Monday, folks.
