At long, long last, the San Francisco Giants are back on the baseball field, starting another season. And at the risk of jinxing things, they get a favorable start, as they open against a team that they went 4-0 against last year, and outscored by 18 runs.

But most importantly: baseball. Giants baseball. It’s back.

Notes

Bonds curse continues: Can Austin Slater end it next year?

Posey batting low: After a rough 2019 with the bat, and a missed 2020, Buster Posey returns to the lineup batting the lowest he has since his rookie season.

So many Opening Days: Congrats to this beautiful trio.

Enjoy the baseball, friends.
