We’ve known for a few days what the San Francisco Giants Opening Day roster was likely to be. They kind of tipped their hand when cutting their roster down to 27 players and admitting that one of those players (Alex Wood) would start the season on the Injured List.

But with no last-minute trades or waiver signings, the Giants have made it official ahead of Thursday night’s season opener against the Seattle Mariners.

Here’s the Opening Day roster:

RHP Johnny Cueto
RHP Anthony DeSclafani
RHP Kevin Gausman
RHP Aaron Sanchez
RHP Logan Webb

Right-handed relievers (3)

Reyes Moronta
Tyler Rogers
Matt Wisler

Left-handed relievers (5)

José Álvarez
Caleb Baragar
Jarlín Garcia
Jake McGee
Wandy Peralta

Catchers (2)

Curt Casali
Buster Posey

Infielders (6)

Brandon Belt
Brandon Crawford

Outfielders (5)

Alex Dickerson
Mauricio Dubón

Austin Slater
Mike Yastrzemski

The Giants also announced their taxi squad for the six-game road trip that starts the season. As a reminder, the taxi squad is a pandemic rule to help minimize exposure. If a team is on the road and has to remove a player — due to demotion, injury, or trade — the player can only be replaced by someone on the taxi squad, which travels with the team.

The taxi squad is five players, and must include at least one catcher. It can change every road trip.

The Giants are opening the year with a taxi squad of right-handed pitchers Trevor Gott and Nick Tropeano, left-handed pitcher Conner Menez, outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr., and catcher Chadwick Tromp.

Finally, the team revealed their alternate training site to start the year. The concept of the alternate training site is pretty much the same is it was last year, except this year the Giants will be able to play scrimmages against the players at the Oakland A’s alternate training site.

Minor League camp also starts today, so if you notice some missing names — such as Marco Luciano — that’s likely where those players are. It’s safe to say that anyone in the organization who isn’t on the roster, taxi squad, or alternate training site is a pretty long ways away from making the team.

Here’s the 27-player alternate training site (players whose names are in bold are already on the 40-man roster)

Right-handed pitchers (11)

Daniel Álvarez
Kervin Castro
Tyler Cyr
Camilo Doval
Asthon Goudeau
Dominic Leone
Zack Littell
Yunior Marte
Gregory Santos
Jimmie Sherfy
Shun Yamaguchi

Left-handed pitchers (5)

Anthony Banda
Luis González
Scott Kazmir
Phil Pfeifer
Sam Selman

Catchers (2)

Joey Bart
Ricardo Genoves

Infielders (5)

Arismendy Alcántara
Jason Krizan
Jason Vosler
Will Wilson
Logan Wyatt

Outfielders (4)

Hunter Bishop
Steven Duggar

Heliot Ramos

And that’s the Giants, in all their glory.
