2021 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List No. 40

Who is the 40th-best prospect in the Giants system?

After a string of very close polls in the 2021 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect list, things have started to open up. The last few episodes have had clear winners, and the latest is no exception.

Right-handed pitcher Matt Frisbee, a 24 year old who was selected in the 15th round in 2018, has been voted as the No. 39 prospect in the San Francisco Giants farm system. It’s a drop of four spots from last year for Frisbee, but he was invited to Spring Training, so he’ll have his chance over the next few weeks to make an impression in Cactus League games.
