2021 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List No. 37

Who is the 37th-best prospect in the Giants system?

We’re adding yet another name from the 2020 MLB Draft to the 2021 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List. Right-handed pitcher R.J. Dabovich, the San Francisco Giants fourth-round pick in June, has been named the No. 36 prospect in the system, per the McCovey Chronicles Community.

Dabovich becomes the sixth of the Giants seven 2020 draft picks to make the rankings, joining Patrick Bailey (No. 8), Kyle Harrison (No. 9), Nick Swiney (No. 17), Casey Schmitt (No. 21), and Jimmy Glowenke (No. 34).

It was an ultra close vote, as Dabovich finished just three votes ahead of second place, and four votes ahead of third.

Now we search for No. 37, and we’ve got some new names today.
