The 31st iteration of the 2021 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List was our closest chapter yet. In a field of four, last place received 23% of the votes, while first place received 27%.
The winner, by a mere four votes (out of 242) is 22-year old outfielder Sandro Fabian, who has been named the No. 31 prospect in the San Francisco Giants farm. It’s a drop of nine spots from his No. 22 finish a year ago, and represents what has been a bit of a free fall down the rankings the last few years.
Now, on to No. 32, and we bring in some new names today.
