Hello and happy Monday.
Today’s BP is not actually about the San Francisco Giants. It’s about former San Francisco Giants. One former San Francisco Giant, in particular: slider-throwing, beard-having, fan favorite, forever Giant Sergio Romo.
He’s coming back to tho Bay Area, but not for the team you were hoping for. No, Romo has signed with the Oakland A’s, per Ken Rosenthal.
More A’s news: The team also is in agreement with free-agent reliever Sergio Romo on a one-year deal, source tells @TheAthletic.

I wish it were the Giants, even though that never seemed particularly likely. But at least Giants fans can know he’s in the vicinity.
