The 13th episode of the 2021 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List is in the books, and it was one of the closest polls yet, but we’ve added a name to our list of the best San Francisco Giants prospects: right-handed pitcher Tristan Beck.
Beck — whom the Giants acquired when they traded Mark Melancon to the Atlanta Braves — won with just 32% of the vote in a four-player field, with two others receiving at least 25% of the share.
We might be headed for another close race, and we’ve got four new names to consider.
