Hello and happy Sunday.

For years, Nolan Arenado has tormented the San Francisco Giants. For eight seasons, the Colorado Rockies third baseman and perennial MVP candidate made a hobby of feasting on innocent Giants pitchers. In 132 games against the Giants, Arenado has hit .291/.354/.556, with 31 home runs, more than against any other team.

And now, mercifully, he’s out of the division, as the Rockies agreed to trade the disgruntled star to the St. Louis Cardinals, and for some wild reason had to include $50 million to make it happen.

Great news for Giants pitchers to not have to face Arenado as often, and great news for baseball fans to get him on a decent team where he can sniff the postseason.
