Hello and happy Monday.
On Sunday, the NFL playoffs raged on, and while the games were wildly entertaining, it was hard not to think of the myriad postponements earlier in the year, and the times when players were thrust into action seemingly out of nowhere because players had been put on the coronavirus protocol.
In the midst of it all, an NBA game was cancelled because a team couldn’t field the minimum number of players due to contact tracing, just one day after a team put out a skeleton of their roster on the court for the same reason.
In happier news, pitchers and catchers report in about a month, and the San Francisco Giants will be at Spring Training in a few short weeks!
Oh, wait.
I wanted to do take a temperature check. I’m in a bit deep, since this is my job, and I’m also naturally cynical about all of this because my default position, despite my career, is “sports are not that important, sorry.”
So how are you all feeling? Baseball soon! Good? Bad? Both?
Both, huh.

There are 80 days until Opening Day. Cool? Maybe? I dunno.
