Notes
No Arenado: Nolan Arenado — the biggest Giants killer alive this side of Paul Goldschmidt — will not be playing tonight, or in any game this series, due to a shoulder injury.
Rockies put Nolan Arenado on the IL. That will certainly make life a bit easier for Giants over the next four games.

Tromp’s status unknown: Chadwick Tromp has been Johnny Cueto’s personal catcher ever since Cueto and Joey Bart had a rough go of things, and Tromp was originally in the lineup. But he was scratched a few hours before the game. It’s unclear why, and if he’s available off the bench, but he did jam his elbow on a dive on Sunday.
The #SFGiants made a change to the lineup and Joey Bart will now catch. Chadwick Tromp won't start.

Tromp has worked well with Johnny Cueto this season, but he also jammed his shoulder on Sunday diving back into first base. No word on why he was scratched.
Enjoy the baseball, friends.
