Notes
No Yaz: Mike Yastrzemski is out with a mild strain in his right calf. It will be just the first time all season that he doesn’t play.
Limited OF depth: With Yastrzemski out and Austin Slater unable to play in the field, the Giants have extremely limited outfield depth. That’s compounded by the fact that Alex Dickerson’s wife is about 40 weeks pregnant, so he could leave the team at any moment.
Keep in mind that the Giants' outfield situation minus Yaz could go from dire to critical if Alex Dickerson's wife goes into labor and he leaves the team for the paternity list. Maybe they'd have to put Belt out there?
