The San Francisco Giants did not start their 10-game road trip on the right foot, falling 7-6 to the Colorado Rockies. With three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and three against the Houston Astros looming after they leave Denver, it would be a very good idea to get a win tonight.

Notes
Tough luck for Gausman: Kevin Gausman makes his second start and third appearance for the Giants. Despite this being his eighth year at the MLB level, it’s his first appearance at Coors Field, roughly 15 miles from where he was born and raised. He’ll finally play in his home park, and there won’t be any friends or family allowed inside.
Gausman was supposed to start at Coors last year for Atlanta but a rainout in the series pushed back the rotation and he didn't appear. He had bought multiple suites for all his people for each game. Now he'll finally pitch there, but with no fans. Crazy.

Dubón! Mauricio Dubón was an everyday player to start the season, but now gets his first start since July 31. It certainly seems like he’s kept a great attitude despite the rocky start to the year.
A happy Dubi to brighten the timeline. pic.twitter.com/FRDuYWWmvF
