Hello and happy Monday everyone.

On Saturday, San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Trevor Cahill exited the game with hip soreness. After undergoing an MRI, the team officially listed him as day-to-day with right hip inflammation.

Cahill could benefit from the Giants having off days on Monday and Thursday, meaning his spot in the rotation isn’t due up until Saturday.

A solo shot in the 7th inning off of Amaury Telemaco extended the lead to 6-1, and the Giants would win 8-1. It was his 2nd straight game with 2 home runs, and gave him 5 home runs in the last 3 games, and 30 on the year.

August 31, 2001: Against the Colorado Rockies, Bonds hit a 2-run home run in the 8th inning off of John Thomson, scoring Rich Aurilia. It cut the Giants deficit to 5-2, which was the final score. It was his 57th homer of the year.
