Hello and happy Monday everyone.
On Saturday, San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Trevor Cahill exited the game with hip soreness. After undergoing an MRI, the team officially listed him as day-to-day with right hip inflammation.
Trevor Cahill's MRI exam showed joint inflammation in his left hip. He was given ant-inflammatory medication and is viewed as day to day at this point.— Maria I. Guardado (@mi_guardado) August 30, 2020
Cahill could benefit from the Giants having off days on Monday and Thursday, meaning his spot in the rotation isn’t due up until Saturday.
