The last time Tyler Anderson took the mound was against the Arizona Diamondbacks. And he pitched the first complete game of his career, leading the San Francisco Giants to a 5-1 victory.

I think they’d be OK with that happening again.

Notes

It’s Jackie Robinson Day: It’s an important day in baseball history, which will be reflected on the players’ jerseys.

Still no Dubi: Mauricio Dubón sat for both halves of Thursday’s doubleheader, despite the Giants facing a pair of lefties. He stays out for the series opener in Arizona.

No Panda: Pablo Sandoval’s days on the roster might be limited. He’s again not getting a DH start against a right-handed pitcher — which is pretty much the only reason he’s on the roster.

Taxi squad: With the trade deadline on Monday, the taxi squad for this trip gets a little bit more important.

Enjoy the baseball, friends.
