The San Francisco Giants have won four games in a row. Prior to this winning streak, they hadn’t won more than two in a row all year.

I vote they make it five in a row.

Game #29

Where: Oracle Park, San Francisco, California
When: 6:15 p.m. PT
Regional broadcast: NBC Sports Bay Area (available through fuboTV)
National broadcast: None
Radio: KNBR 680 AM/104.5 FM

Lineups

As much as we all want to watch Joey Bart nonstop, he’s getting a well-deserved off day. Due to the lack of real games at the Alternate Training Site, it makes sense that a debuting player is going to need some time to get into condition to catch full games five or six days a week. And with Wilmer Flores’ bat hotter than hot, it’s harder to find a place for Bart as a designated hitter.

Notes

Slater hits the IL: Austin Slater has been scorching hot as of late, but unfortunately is headed to the Injured List with a groin strain. He’s replaced by Steven Duggar, who jumps straight into the lineup. It’s Duggar’s third call-up of the season.

Enjoy the baseball, friends.
