MLB: Oakland Athletics at San Francisco Giants Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Well, we’re doing this again, I guess. The Bay Bridge Series mercifully concludes today, and all that we as San Francisco Giants fans are rooting for is for the Giants to not blow a ninth-inning lead. That’s legitimately the best we can all hope for at this point.

Will Gabe Kapler turn to Trevor Gott in a crucial situation? Will the A’s players all be playing with their “CLUTCH” sliders turned up to 125? Will Mike Yastrzemski do something awesome into a wailing void? We’ll have to wait to find out, but yes!

Mike Fiers gets the start for the Oakland Athletics tonight, having been pushed up in the order due to Frankie Montas’ late scratch on Friday. Maybe if Frankie Montas has started that game, none of our garments would be rent right now. We’ll never know ...

Game #22

Where: Oracle Park, San Francisco, California

Regional broadcast: NBC Sports Bay Area (available through fuboTV)
National broadcast: None

Notes

Bonnie Darrels: If Donovan Solano looks to extend his 17-game hitting streak today. That’s another thing to root for!

Jaylin on the way in?: Andrew Baggarly mentioned on Twitter that the Giants may need to bring Jaylin Davis back from the alternate site or MiLBubble or whatever we’re calling it if Hunter Pence continues to struggle both at the plate and in the field.

Enjoy? The baseball?
