Notes
No Donnie Barrels: Donovan Solano is out due to some abdominal soreness.
Donovan Solano is out of the lineup with abdominal soreness. Gabe Kapler called it a "precautionary measure."

No Panda: For the second consecutive night, Pablo Sandoval is sidelined despite a right-handed pitcher being on the mound. While Sandoval is with the team, and presumably available to pinch-hit, he’s apparently being held out due to dealing with a family matter.
Gabe Kapler said Pablo Sandoval is dealing with some "family concerns." That's part of the reason he's not starting today against Astros right-hander Brandon Bielak.

Getting defensive: The Giants horrendous defense hit a low point on Monday, and a day later they might be putting out their best possible defensive lineup. That’s not saying much, but still.
Enjoy the baseball, friends. Apologies if that’s a tall ask.
