Hello and happy Saturday to you all. We’re continuing our postseason rewatch tonight with Game 3 of the 2014 World Series at 6 p.m. PT, if you’re interested.

The San Francisco Giants have released yet another episode of their “Chalk Talk @ Home” YouTube series. If you’re new to it, it’s a video series of roughly one hour videos where broadcasters Duane Kuiper, Mike Krukow, Jon Miller, and Dave Flemming speak with various people related to the Giants.

This week they were joined by left-handed reliever Tony Watson and outfield slugger Alex Dickerson. It’s a lot of fun, and well worth the watch, especially if you’re starting to get excited about the upcoming 60-game 2020 MLB season.

Soon we’ll be hearing those sweet dulcet tones of Kuiper, Krukow, Miller, and Flemming talking about what’s happening on a baseball field, rather than just talking to people who were used to seeing on a baseball field. And won’t that be nice.

Did Barry Bonds hit a home run today?

Yep, a few.

July 4, 1994: Against the New York Mets, Bonds hit a solo home run in the 8th inning off of Mike Remlinger. It tied the game 1-1, but they would lose 2-1 in 10 innings. It was his 22nd homer of the year.

July 4, 2003: Against the San Diego Padres, Bonds hit a 2-run home run in the 4th inning off of Jake Peavy, scoring Marquis Grissom. It gave the Giants a 7-4 lead, and they would win 8-6. It was his 25th homer of the year.

Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone. Please stay safe, and please be responsible if you’re partying or barbecuing this weekend.
