Sunday BP: Madison Bumgarner home runs

Looking back on all 19 home runs that Bumgarner hit with the Giants.

San Francisco Giants v. Arizona Diamondbacks

Good morning, happy Sunday, and happy birthday to my wonderful father.

The other day I posted an article about everyone’s go-to San Francisco Giants YouTube video. The next time I logged onto YouTube, that sneaky little website had a gem all lined up and waiting for me.

A compilation of every Madison Bumgarner home run. And not one of those silly 30-second videos where you get all of the swings back to back to back. No, a full-on video of each home run in its totality.

It’s blissful. Just what you need with your Sunday morning cup of whiskey coffee.

This video was made in 2017, so it’s missing two Bumgarner home runs. Just to be thorough, let’s check those out too.

Miss you already. And I look forward to baseball hopefully restarting again this year so we can see that sweet, sweet swing in action, even if it’s for another team.

Did Barry Bonds hit a home run today?

He did.

June 7, 2001: Against the San Diego Padres, Bonds hit a 2-run home run in the 7th inning off of Brian Lawrence, scoring Rich Aurilia. It cut the Giants deficit to 10-6, and they would lose 10-7. It was his 32nd homer of the year.

June 7, 2003: Against the Detroit Tigers, Bonds hit a 2-run home run in the 8th inning off of Steve Avery, scoring Rich Aurilia. It gave the Giants a 6-1 lead, and they would win 7-5. It was his 15th homer of the year.

I hope your Sunday is wonderful.
