Mother’s Day 2020: Last-minute gift ideas for your favorite Giants fan

Mother’s Day is fast approaching (it’s Sunday, May 10 in case you forgot), and I think I speak for most of us when I say that this year is even more poignant than most. For many of us, the coronavirus has kept us from being able to see many of our loved ones.

I haven’t seen my mom in more than four months, which is a pretty long period of time considering the fact that we have a wonderful relationship and live in the same state. I have no idea when I will get the chance to see her again, but it will certainly be the longest we’ve ever gone.

So this Mother’s Day feels a little more poignant and emotional than in other years, even though it’s an inherently poignant and emotional holiday.

I’ll be honest: I’m not going to buy my mom any of the products shown below, because my mother is many things, but a diehard San Francisco Giants fan is not one of them.
