Due to the coronavirus outbreak suspending the 2020 MLB season, we’re rewatching the three San Francisco Giants postseason runs, game-by-game, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 6 p.m. PT, with a gamethread for each.

The San Francisco Giants return home to SBC Pac Bell Oracle AT&T Park for Game 3 of the 2010 National League Championship Series. The Philadelphia Phillies won Game 2 to tie things up at one game apiece as things shift to the best West Coast.

And wow, have we got ourselves a good pitching matchup. After being treated to Tim Lincecum vs. Roy Halladay in Game 1, and then Jonathan Sanchez vs. Roy Oswalt in Game 2, we now get Matt Cain vs. Cole Hamels. I hope you like pitching!

We’re starting this rewatch at the same time as all of the rewatches: 6 p.m. PT. I’m embedding the video at the bottom of the article, which you can watch in your browser or cast from, or you can find it on YouTube by searching “Giants 2010 NLCS Game 3” and clicking the first link.

Now, let’s get to the lineups. First, for the two-time defending National League champion Phillies:

  3. Placido Polanco - 3B
  4. Ryan Howard - 1B
  5. Jayson Werth - RF
  6. Jimmy Rollins - SS
  7. Raul Ibanez - LF
  8. Carlos Ruiz - C
  9. Cole Hamels - P

And for your Giants:

  2. Freddy Sanchez - 2B
  3. Buster Posey - C
  4. Pat Burrell - LF
  5. Cody Ross - RF
  6. Aubrey Huff - 1B
  7. Juan Uribe - 3B
  8. Aaron Rowand - CF

Go Giants!
