Due to the coronavirus outbreak suspending the 2020 MLB season, we’re rewatching the three San Francisco Giants postseason runs, game-by-game, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 6 p.m. PT, with a gamethread for each.
After an exciting 4-3 victory in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series, the San Francisco Giants take a 1-0 lead into Citizens Bank Park as they visit the 97-win Philadelphia Phillies.
The Phillies are hoping to tie the series and get a game closer to their third straight trip to the World Series. The Giants are hoping to get within two games of their first World Series trip since . . . /checks notes . . . umm, 1989. Yep, that’s definitely right.
We’re starting this rewatch at the same time as all of the rewatches: 6 p.m. PT. I’m embedding the video at the bottom of the article, which you can watch in your browser or cast from, or you can find it on YouTube by searching “Giants 2010 NLCS Game 2” and clicking the first link.
