Due to the coronavirus outbreak suspending the 2020 MLB season, we’re rewatching the three San Francisco Giants postseason runs, game-by-game, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 6 p.m. PT, with a gamethread for each.

The San Francisco Giants lead the Texas Rangers 2-0 in the 2010 World Series. The Giants need just two wins in five games to win their first championship since moving to San Francisco.

But now the series is shifting east, to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

The Giants are sending Jonathan Sanchez to the mound. Sanchez went 13-9 on the year, with a 3.07 ERA, a 4.00 FIP, and 205 strikeouts in 193.1 innings.

In what’s basically a must-win game, the Rangers are countering with Colby Lewis. Lewis went 12-13 during the season, with a 3.72 ERA, a 3.55 FIP, and 196 strikeouts in 201 innings.

We’re starting this rewatch at the same time as all of the rewatches: 6 p.m. PT. I’m embedding the video at the bottom of the article, which you can watch in your browser or cast from, or you can find it on YouTube by searching “2010 World Series Game 3” and clicking the second link.
