Due to the coronavirus outbreak suspending the 2020 MLB season, we’re rewatching the three San Francisco Giants postseason runs, game-by-game, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 6 p.m. PT, with a gamethread for each.

The San Francisco Giants hold a 1-0 lead over the Texas Rangers in the 2010 World Series, as we get set for Game 2 from AT&T Park. The Giants are just three wins away from their first championship since moving to San Francisco, and they’re trying to get a game closer.

It’s another fun pitching matchup, as you expect in October games. The Giants are sending out the horse, Matt Cain, who finished the year 13-11, with a 3.14 ERA, a 3.65 FIP, and 177 strikeouts in 223.1 innings.

The Rangers are countering with lefty C.J. Wilson, who finished the year 15-8, with a 3.35 ERA, a 3.56 FIP, and 170 strikeouts in 204 innings.

We’re starting this rewatch at the same time as all of the rewatches: 6 p.m. PT. I’m embedding the video at the bottom of the article, which you can watch in your browser or cast from, or you can find it on YouTube by searching “2010 World Series Game 2” and clicking the first link.
