Weekend BP: Super Bowl edition

Sports!

Studies have shown a very bizarre and inexplainable correlation between the first part of team names and fans. Not the last part of team names. Just the first part.

For instance, if you’re a fan of the San Francisco Giants, you’re not likely to be a fan of the New York Giants. But you are likely to be a fan of the San Francisco 49ers.

Not even our brightest scientific minds can explain this phenomenon, but it exists nonetheless.

Super Bowl LIV is on Sunday, and it features the aforementioned 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs. If you’re here, reading this post on a Giants site, chances are you have some rooting interest on Sunday, as well.

So go 49ers!!

Unless you’re a Chiefs fan. Go Chiefs, in that case. Except just kidding, booo. Go 49ers.

Most importantly, however, is that Sunday is our greatest holiday: Snacks day. Wings. Fries. Chips. Dip. Beer. More beer. Pretzels. Salad wait no how’d that get in there, get that out of there. Salsa. Guac. Fried stuff. Grilled stuff. Beer stuff.

Happy weekend, folks. Enjoy the Super Bowl.
