Hello and happy Wednesday.
I hope you enjoyed Tuesday’s baseball games, but perhaps they had you longing for San Francisco Giants baseball.
So let’s watch the best moments of the season together.
Did Barry Bonds hit a home run today?
Oh did he ever.
October 7, 2001: Against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Bonds hit a solo home run in the 1st inning off of Dennis Springer. It gave the Giants a 1-0 lead, and they would win 2-1 (beat LA). It was his 73rd homer of the year, finalizing a single-season record that still holds.
October 7, 2002: In Game 5 of the NLDS, against the Atlanta Braves, Bonds hit a solo home run in the 4th inning off of Kevin Millwood. It gave the Giants a 2-0 lead, and they would win the game 3-1, to win the series 3-2. It was his 3rd homer of the series.
