Hunter Pence will forever be remembered as one of our favorite San Francisco Giants. Eight years with the franchise, two championships, one All-Star appearance, one legendary speech, and countless memorable moments later will do that.
And now Pence is transitioning to being one our favorite Giants fans. Just a day after announcing his retirement, Pence partook in the second-most important part of being a Giants fan: cheering on the Giants. He did so by showing up in McCovey Cove during a game against the San Diego Padres.
And on Saturday, Pence partook in the most important part of being a Giants fan: laughing at the Los Angeles Dodgers when they trip and fall on their faces.
Pence was at a restaurant in San Francisco on Saturday night when the Tampa Bay Rays had a miraculous come from behind victory over the Dodgers in Game 4 of the World Series. According to a fan sitting at a nearby table, Pence proceeded to buy shots for the entire bar in celebration.

And then he continued to soak it in while strolling through the city.
Walking around SF and the cheering in the streets is music to my ears...obviously the Rays won

Bless this man forever.
In case you missed it, the Rays beat the Dodgers despite trailing with two outs and two strikes in the ninth inning. Tampa scored the tying run from second and the walk-off run from first on a single thanks in part to Los Angeles having not one, and not two, but three defensive miscues on the play.
It was perfect.
What a game, and what a forever Giant. If you see Hunter on the street, tell him you love him.
