With all the roster turnover lately, it’s been incredibly hard to keep track of who is on the 25-man roster anymore. Every day, the running of the beat writers takes place on my Twitter feed as they all try to report the news. And each day, it takes longer and longer to get through.
For today’s fun exercise, I thought it might be interesting to give you guys two challenges (which you don’t have to do in the comments, you can just check your work and report back afterwards):
1.) Name everyone on the 25-man roster right now, Friday morning, off the top of your head.
2.) If that was too easy for you, name everyone who has been on the 25-man roster for the Giants this entire season. I’m writing this at 4:55 pm on Thursday, and as of this exact moment, there have been 50 players, according to Baseball Reference.
