It’s getting hard to keep track of public sentiment about what the Giants should do at the trade deadline, even among the most devoted fans (with very diverse overall team outlooks). It seems like almost everyone is on the verge of saying, “eff it, let’s give it a go!” every time the team wins another game during this glorious month of ridiculously improbable baseball.
This team is SO great in the ABSOLUTE stupidest way and I am living for it

Obviously, the team lost yesterday because you physically can’t win them all. But it didn’t stop fans from imagining Brandon Belt hitting a home run in the last at-bat of the game to tie it up and send it to yet ANOTHER extra inning game. Such is the confidence of some Giants fans right now.
So I present to you a hypothetical:
Say the Giants win all five of their remaining games before the trade deadline (a great time for them to have two days off in less than a week, to make things even more difficult for the front office, smh). But I digress. Say that they do that, and end July going 21-4, are you still completely sold on trading anyone who isn’t nailed down? Or do you start thinking that maybe they should make one last push with this group?
