Where will Alex Dickerson wind up when it’s all said and done? Is he the next Damon Minor or is he the new Aubrey Huff? And by that I mean, random pickup who comes out of nowhere to have a near-All Star performance and not “controversial” tweeter.
Maybe his ultimate destiny doesn’t matter. A rebuild is supposed to be about the process and not results, after all, and sometimes a good ol’ fashioned folk hero is just what the base needs. So, here’s BreakingT’s latest offering: in recognition of Alex Dickerson’s first ten games with the Giants (1.194 OPS) and the team’s fiery new chant to honor his heroics —
DICK! DICK! DICK! DICK! DICK! pic.twitter.com/MH4uIyI2Ul— Kenny Kelly (@KennyKellyWords) June 22, 2019
— a shirt that captures this moment in time.
Charles Dickens opened A Tale of Two Cities with the classic line, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” 160 years later, Alex Dickerson has authored a classic opening line of the first year of the Giants’ official (not official) rebuild:
BreakingT has always helped us wear the moment, and ooh baby, is this one of the Giants’ biggest moments yet:

Maybe Alex Dickerson’s hot June will be remembered in the same way we remember Randy Winn’s hot August, but with this new shirt, we’ll never forget just how big and weird Dickerson’s emergence has been, even if it doesn’t last very long.
In ten years, when there’s a new wave of Giants and a new wave of fans, you’ll have this trophy from these bad old days when it all looked hopeless. You can tell those young whippersnappers, “We didn’t have much, but we had Dickerson.”
Printing begins this week, but orders won’t start shipping until the All-Star break, so plan accordingly. The Giants open up the second half with seven on the road before returning home on July 18th to face the Mets.
Skirt the line between good taste and genuine fandom with this MLBPA-endorsed shirt. Order now and get yours before it disappears!
