Good morning, McCoven!
So today is breakfast baseball. I mean, if you’re going to get embarrassed by the Mets, might as well get it over with early. That’s what I always say.
Aside from the governor (and literally everyone else) dunking on the Toronto Raptors for using a picture of the wrong bridge in a promo tweet for the game, there wasn’t a lot of good news to be had last night for bay area sports fans.

Unfortunately, the Warriors ended up losing and fell 2-1 in the NBA Finals. And, well, we’ve already covered getting embarrassed by the Mets.
However, there was one bit of good news for fans of Mac Williamson in the bay. Williamson not only signed a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners, but will immediately have his contract selected and join the 25-man roster. This is due to a LACERATED SPLEEN that put Braden Bishop, older brother of the Giants’ first round draft pick Hunter Bishop, on the injured list.
I can’t remember ever being simultaneously horrified and elated before, yet here we are. And the trend of ex-Giants doing good things continues:
Mac Williamson just homered for the Mariners. Anyway, enjoy your night.— Doug (@moonwalkmcfly) June 6, 2019
