Good morning, McCoven! I am back from vacation and happy to see you all!
One of the many things I did last week was go to Wednesday night’s Giants game vs. the Padres. The upside of the Giants being bad this year is that we were able to get seats in the eighth row directly next to first base and about 40 feet from the Padres dugout for $17 plus fees. Best seats
for taking pictures of Brandon Belt that I’ve ever had!
I realized, as I watched Kevin Pillar hit a home run early-ish in the game, that I hadn’t seen the Giants score a run in person in the last three seasons. I’ve been exclusively to games where they were on the wrong end of a complete game shut out. That home run brought a tear to my eye. And the Padres going full-Padres brought some much needed schadenfreudic glee. One should never go full-Padres, and as the Padres, you would have thought that they knew that. Oh, well.
Anyway, I’m happy to be back! Also, I hope you guys are enjoying the new podcast! Episode 2, featuring an interview with Lana Berry, will be out tomorrow. I think.
And in case any of you needed a good laugh to start off your Tuesday, here are Brandon and Brandon trying not to laugh as they read each other dad jokes.
