It doesn’t feel great going from the Warriors to this weekend’s series against the Brewers, just from a “watching competitive sporting events” standpoint. The Brewers figure to roll over the Giants. The inherent unpredictability of baseball might stop that, but then again, here’s a fun pre-game note:
Half of the players making up the #Brewers everyday lineup are on pace to set a career-high for home runs in a season.

Christian Yelich - 25 (36)
Mike Moustakas - 21 (38)
Yasmani Grandal - 15 (27)
Orlando Arcia - 8 (15)
Those four combined have hit nine more than the Giants have as a team (69 to 60). Not great for the Giants! Also not great for them? The rest of the Brewers’ lineup:
CF — Lorenzo Cain
RF — Christian Yelich
LF — Ryan Braun
C — Yasmani Grandal
3B — Mike Moustakas
2B — Hernan Perez
1B — Jesus Aguilar
SS — Orlando Arcia
SP — Zach Davies
Drew Pomeranz will try to prove that he’s not just good against the Dodgers but against a team with an .813 OPS against left-handed pitching so far in 2019. Backing him up will be these Giants:
2B — Joe Panik
LF — Brandon Belt
1B — Pablo Sandoval
C — Buster Posey
3B — Evan Longoria
SS — Brandon Crawford
RF — Kevin Pillar
CF — Steven Duggar
SP — Drew Pomeranz
Mike Yastrzemski’s days might be numbered. We’ll know soon enough.
