Good morning, McCoven! Today, I wanted to take a brief moment to celebrate then man, the myth, the legend, Mr. David B. Flemming.
You can identify his voice on a television in a crowded bar. His voice in a non-Giants broadcast is almost enough to entice you to watch even your most hated sports teams. You rely on his excellent banter about ships and history with Jon Miller to get you through blowouts. His voice on the radio guides you home on a long drive. And sometimes their voices are the last you hear before bed, as you drift off to sleep during a boring blowout loss.
To quote the Giants’ slogan, “It Doesn’t Get More SF” than Dave Flemming calling a baseball game. And we are lucky to have him, hopefully for a long time to come.
