MLB: Colorado Rockies at San Francisco Giants Cody Glenn-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, McCoven!

I regret to inform you that it’s finally official, the Giants are bad. Now I’m not one to tell you what to make of what your own eyes have been telling you for the last three years, but FiveThirtyEight made it official yesterday with their article entitled “The Strange Dynasty Of The San Francisco Giants Is Over. (Yes, It Was A Dynasty.)

It’s like someone over there was doing what I do when I’m not sure what to write about. They dug through the archives and remembered that the Giants were a thing and decided to polish it up for us to consume with such breaking insights as:

Over the course of the past decade, the San Francisco Giants put together one of the strangest dynasties in baseball history. And now it is officially coming to an end.

All kidding aside, it’s not a bad look back on things. Some of it was quite a bit reductive, and most of it is comprised of things you already know. Still, it goes on to praise the Giants dynasty that was, but is no more, but could be again in the future!
