88th MLB All-Star Game - Batting Practice Photo by Mark Brown/Getty Images

It has been roughly a month since the baseball season started. And though that’s a bit early to start making guesses for things like who will represent the Giants in the All Star game this year in Cleveland.

It almost seems like a punishment to force a player to give up prime vacation time in the middle of the season to go to (/shudders) Cleveland, but at least one player will have to make the sacrifice for the rest of his teammates.

I feel like it is unlikely that the Giants will have anyone voted onto the team, but each team has to have one representative. Buster Posey could receive the token invite, on his status alone. Or one of the relievers who have been pitching very well this season. Brandon Belt might even make it into the vote-in category again if he really gets hot. Or Kevin Pillar, for that matter, as he currently leads the team in bWAR.

If the voting were today, who would you pick to represent the team?
