Yesterday, a whole bunch of new players joined the poll. And they didn’t have a chance.
Mauricio Dubon won with 34% of the vote (94 votes), ahead of Luis Matos’ 27% of the vote (75). The five players that were added to the poll totaled 77 votes combined, which still was less than Dubon.
Here is our list at this point:
- Joey Bart
- Marco Luciano
- Heliot Ramos
- Hunter Bishop
- Logan Webb
- Alexander Canario
- Seth Corry
- Mauricio Dubon
This leaves us with two more spots in our Top 10, and a very healthy group of candidates for those spots. Is this were the young Matos makes his appearance? Or will that group of voters for Dubon vote for other players that are closer to the Majors, like Sean Hjelle or Jaylin Davis?
One bit of programming before the poll: We’ll be taking off tomorrow (Christmas), so the voting for the #10 spot will go up on Thursday.
